Help us spread the word – please share this story!

Combat Blindness International President Reena Chandra Rajpal hosted the World Sight Day 2021 livestream event.

Thanks to you, we exceeded our 2021 World Sight Day goal! CBI raised over $117,000, which includes a generous matching gift from our dear friend, Diane Ballweg.

The Oct. 14th livestreamed event included updates on our impact, a fun silent auction, and an interview with Kovin Naidoo, a global eye health thought leader and senior vice president of social impact at Essilor, a world leader in ophthalmic products.

We are deeply grateful to all who joined us and gave from their hearts.

If you weren’t able to attend World Sight Day, you can watch a recording of it here. Plus, you still have an opportunity to double your impact by the end of 2021. All donations will be matched up to $60,000 through December 31, 2021. Click here to help twice as many people!

World Sight Day 2021 Right to Sight Clinic staff

There was a good turnout at the CBI-supported World Sight Day Right to Sight Clinic, spearheaded by Dr. Anna Momont of the UW–Madison Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS).

In one day, a total of 66 underinsured patients received free eye care, thanks to your generosity. Huge thanks to Dr. Momont and the DOVS team!
